A NEW INVESTOR AT ECOLYS: FRESHNESS IS SUD-FRESH

A new project was completed at Ecolys at few weeks ago: the company Sud-Fresh, which specialises in logistics for fresh and frozen food products at controlled temperature, has established its Wallonia logistics centre there. The centre covers over 5,000 m² and employs 70 people. Arranging mass flows makes it possible to avoid additional journeys. The company acquired the ‘Lean and Green’ label in 2013 and obtained its first ‘Lean & Green’ star in 2019.

THELIS MARKS ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY AND OPENS ITS NEW PREMISES IN NANINNE

On Wednesday, 22 October, the company Thelis had two reasons to celebrate: its managers opened their new installations on the last site remaining for sale at the Naninne business park, in the presence of many guests, and they marked the company's thirtieth anniversary. RECORD: TAKERS FOUND FOR 18 RELAY BUILDING MODULES AFTER THE SUMMER BREAK

Takers were found for 18 modules in the BEP Expansion économique relay halls and business centres during the summer of 2019: a record that reflects the positive trend in the establishment of young companies and start-ups in the Province of Namur. Here they benefit from adapted spaces as well as from the assistance of professional, experienced advisers to give them a helping hand, which can sometimes prove very useful in such projects undertaken by entrepreneurs. ANDENNE: MAJOR INVESTMENT BY THE LEADER IN URBAN CLEANERS, GLUTTON®

Glutton® Cleaning Machines has invested €8.5 million for this new 7000 m² plant in Andenne, on the Mecalys business park, allowing it to double its capacity to produce famous urban waste vacuum cleaners, present in 6000 cities in 70 different countries. Nearly 20 other businesses are being set up on the same park!
