  • GLUTTON®, a new generation of vacuum cleaners and investments in MECALYS®

    (FR) Glutton a acquis un terrain de deux hectares situé dans le parc d’activité Mecalys® pour y construire un nouveau bâtiment. Glutton compte y accueillir sa clientèle mondiale et veut faire de ce bâtiment une vraie carte de visite, notamment par ses aspects environnemental et durable.

  • ACTIBEL MAKES A SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT IN ECOLYS

    This ambitious “Business Centre Actibel ECOLYS” project can be seen at the entrance to the Ecolys financial business park, and is located on a plot of more than three hectares. It is located by the entrance to the ECOLYS business park, and boasts a multi-functional 30,900 m² building.

  • BELGIAN VOLITION HAS CHOSEN CREALYS

    Representatives from VOLITION RX (USA), which is listed in New York, including Cameron Reynolds, President and CEO, and Singapore Volition (the original umbrella company) have supported their subsidiary company’s project which brings the entire group’s operational development to Wallonia. They all retain a unanimous stance on the positive image of Wallonia in the overseas Biotech industry.

  • ROMBOUTS SETTLES IN MECALYS

    Another newcomer to Mecalys: the Rombouts coffee company is currently putting the finishing touches to the construction of a logistics centre for its hospitality customers in the commune of Fernelmont. The company has benefited from the personalised service of the BEP, from the choice of the park where it can develop its activities to contacts with the utilities operators so as to facilitate the administrative procedures.
  • FERNELMONT: A 4.0 PLANT FOR ISOHEMP BLOCKS

    IsoHemp, Belgium’s biggest producer of insulating blocks based on hemp concrete (Fernelmont/Namur), offers an innovative, high-quality product thanks to industrial prefabrication and environmentally friendly characteristics. The company is currently investing in a new plant which is scheduled for 2021, based on the principles of the 4.0 industry: sensors, ERP, robots and cobots.
  • ECO-CONSTRUCTION CLUSTER TO MOVE TO ECOLYS® SHORTLY

    The Eco-construction Cluster will shortly be moving to its new administrative head office in the Ecolys® business park. Work on manufacturing the prototype is currently underway in the workshops of the wooden frames company Mobic. The construction technique and materials will be ‘ECO’ thanks to a wooden structure insulated with straw.
  • SOCIAL DISTANCING THANKS TO A NAMUR-BASED COMPANY

    CGEOS Creative Geosensing SPRL, a Namur-based company with unique expertise in the field of geometric, topographical and industrial measurements as well as indoor positioning, offers us this solution: a UWB tag fitted on a bracelet and supplied by a long-lasting built-in battery (12 hours). The partnership between CGEOS Creative Geosensing SPRL and Nanjing Woxu Wireless led to the development of this smart bracelet. It is one of the results of the collaboration between these two provinces.
