From performance to transition in business: renowned speaker Olivier Hamant will be in Gembloux to discuss this hot-button issue:

We are delighted to invite you to an exceptional event with Olivier Hamant, a biologist and research director for INRAE. Mr Hamant works at the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon, and is also the director of the Institut Michel-Serres. He is the recipient of several awards, and has published two books with Odile Jacob that offer innovative perspectives for understanding the present and imagining the future: ‘La troisième voie du Vivant’ and ‘De l’incohérence : philosophie politique de la robustesse’.
On Wednesday, 2 October at noon, we will have the honour of welcoming him to the Domaine de Lonzée. During this session, he will explain why well-roundedness is more important for our companies than specialisation in a world that is constantly in flux, and that it is necessary to move away from the cult of performance. Incoherence, which is found throughout nature, appears to be an essential key to creating dynamic stability over time.
Growth gives the impression of abundance, while it actually creates scarcity.
This event represents a unique opportunity to discuss, and reflect on, strategies that we can adopt to ensure the resilience and sustainability of our companies in the face of global challenges.
We are counting on your attendance to enrich our debates and to share your own experiences.
